Welcome to Central Library of Dispur College
Established in the year 1978, the Dispur College Central Library is one of the pioneer center to provide knowledge not only to its stake holders, but also to its society. The college library is a learning resource center for the users (students, teachers, staff and other social stakeholders). Users can access the wide range of resources comprising of textbooks, reference books, periodicals etc. of Indian and international authors. As one of the pioneer institution of the Greater Guwahati, the Central Library is catering to the needs of its users providing every possible services to its users with its resources.
The Library building has been renovated in 2021 with RUSA 1.0 Grant. The Library has a sitting capacity of 50 both in new and old building. The Library has textbook section and reading room in Old building and in New building it has sections like Property Counter, different reference books, Teacher’s Reading Room, Librarian’s Room, Library Assistant Room, Reading Section, Journal and Magazine Section and Newspaper Section. The Central Library has been automated through KOHA Software. The Central Library has an E-Resource Centre for the users to access the internet, strictly only for the academic purpose.

ISSUE & RETURN TIME: 10:00 A.M to 4:00 P.M
FREE USE FOR THE CITIZENS: 4:00 P.M to 6:00 P.M
